The A Team.
We are a 2 car team making the intrepid journey again. This will be Teresa and Gavin's 5th Pork Pie Charity Run and Jo's 2nd. The work of KidsCan is very important to us, as through his work as a Teacher, Gavin has seen first hand many children affected by poverty with their learning affected as a result. The over-riding mantra is that "it's not the kid's fault". Please help us to help kidsCan help as many disadvantaged kids as they can by donating here. Every donation helps and small ones soon add up to become a big one. Every little helps.
“We’re taking this car to Invercargill!”
As part of the 2019 Pork Pie Charity Run we’ll be driving a Mini over 2500km from Kaitaia to Invercargill over just six days. This epic journey will test our willpower, stamina, sense of humour and beloved vehicle to the limit. It’s all in the name of a good cause though – we are proud to be raising funds for KidsCan to help Kiwi kids in need reach their full potential.

KidsCan Charitable Trust
KidsCan is helping Kiwi kids living in hardship reach their full potential and create brighter futures for themselves.
We provide Kiwi kids in need with food, clothing and health items at school and early childhood centres, so they can get into the classroom in a position to learn. KidsCan does this because we believe that education equals opportunity, and all children, regardless of their social economic background should have an equal chance.
